Odisha NEET State Merit List 2020- Tie- Breaker
In case, if two candidates secure equal marks in NEET exam then a tie-breaker mechanism will be used. Inter-se-merit will be determined on the basis of following parameters-
- Candidate scoring highest marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred.
- If a tie still persists then the candidate with highest marks in chemistry will be given preference.
- Candidates attending less number of wrong answers or attempting fewer mistakes in all the subjects in the test will be ranked high.
- It the tie still exists then the candidate older in age will be given preference and hence will be ranked high.
