No NEET UG 2017 In Tamil Nadu State: The Tamil Nadu government has tabled the bill against the National Eligibility CUM Entrance Test (NEET) UN in the state Assembly today. Tamil Nadu state’s health minister C Vijay Bhaskar moved two bills to exclude Tamil Nadu from the National Eligibility CUM Entrance Test for MBBS and BDS courses. These bills will let the government take admissions continue for undergraduate and postgraduate medical & dental seats by marks obtained in 10+2 exams.
The health minister said, “The state government has made a policy decision to continue the present procedure of admissions to MBBS and BDS courses on the basis of the marks obtained in the higher secondary examination (Class 12),”.

Back in 2016, the Supreme Court made NEET as the only medical entrance exam across the country. Now after these bills, I think other states will try to pass these kinds of laws.
