NEET PG 2017 Counselling Schedule Procedure Seat Allotment: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is going to conduct counselling for NEET All India Quota Post Graduate Courses like MD, MS, and MDS. This year, total 31,330 candidates have qualified for the NEET PG 2017 online counselling. All candidates who have successfully cleared the NEET PG Online Entrance Test 2017 will be called for the counselling. The Counselling schedule has published on the official website of Medical Counselling Committee. According to the schedule, the first round counselling will be started from March 14th to 19th March 2017.
If you remember, last time the NEET PG was conducted in 2013, and after that, it was changed as AIPGMEE. So, after four years NEET PG has resumed for 2017 session. From this year, NEET-PG will be conducted every year.

NEET PG 2017 Counselling Procedure
As we know, the NEET PG 2017 Counselling is about to start. So, you should be aware of counselling Procedure, Eligibility, and Seat Allotment. In this article, we have gathered all relevant information regarding NEET PG 2017 Counselling.
According to the schedule, there will be only 2 rounds of the counselling. The MCC will fill 50% of medical seats through these 2 rounds and then the rest of 50% seats will be filled by the State quota counselling. There is one more thing that should be noted before the counselling that candidates can register themselves only one time for both rounds of counselling.
The online counselling procedure will begin from 14th March 2017 on the official website of Medical Council Committee. All candidates have to register first to lock their college choices.
On the first day, candidates will be eligible to register themselves from 10:00 AM to 5 PM. This facility will be open until 19th March (Sunday), 2017.
After registration, candidates will be able to access choice locking. The choice locking facility will be available only for one day. If you want to get the best college, make sure you appear in 1st round choice locking procedure.
NEET PG 2017 Counselling Seat Allotment Result
The MCC will publish 1st round seat allotment result on 23rd March on their official website. All candidates will have to report at the allotted Medical/Dental College after 1st round result. All candidates are suggested to keep all necessary documents on the day of reporting.
The remaining seats under 50% reservations will be filled in 2nd round counselling. The candidates who haven’t allotted any seats in first round counselling will be called for the second round choice locking.
The 2nd round counselling will be started from 24th April to 25th April for 2 days. After that MCC will publish 2nd round seat allotment result. Still if any candidate hasn’t allotted any seat then he/she can appear in state quota counselling that will be started from 9th May 2017.
