Grace marks to the aspirants in NEET PG 2021 exam – 6 May 2021
As more and more medical graduates are now joining for fighting the COVID situation in the country, the Supreme Court of India, decided to offer grace marks to all such students. All these grace marks will be given to the 1.5 Lakh students sitting for NEET PG 2021. The court made this decision to ensure the availability of all the candidates for COVID duty.
NEET PG 2021 exam postponed till August 31, 2021- 5 May 2021
An official order was released by the Prime Minister’s office to postpone the NEET PG by four months. The order declared that the examination will no more be scheduled before 31 August 2021. The decision was made keeping in view the necessity of the COVID workforce. An official announcement will be made 1 month before the final declaration of the exam date.
Registration Process of NEET-UG 2021- 28 April 2021
As per the last notification by the NTA NEET UG 2021, the exam was scheduled for August but with the pandemic situation ongoing in the country, the same is legitimate to be delayed. The registrations will start as and when notified by the higher authorities. Read more

IMA appeals to Health Ministry to hasten NEET PG – 24 April 2021
Indian Medical Association is requesting the Health Ministry to hasten up the NEET PG 2021 exams. This request is being forwarded to all the authorities, along with the Ministry. The decision was made due to the current scenario of COVID-19 and the scarcity of doctors in the country. Thus, enabling the students to join their humanitarian service as soon as possible and boost the healthcare workforce in the country.
NCERT Maps for students to score well in NEET – 23 April 2021
A range of concise study material known as NCERT Maps was released by Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL). The study material was released for all the medical aspirants who are preparing for NEET-UG 2021. The study material consists of the NCERT syllabus in a compact format to help students with the revision. These quick revision study maps are available for all four subjects covered in the NEET exam.
Medicine is the prime choice of the NEET Aspirants: Survey- 22 April 2021
Amid the Global Pandemic, a survey was conducted by Career Xpert, online. The survey included 2000 aspirants. Among all the aspirants about 24% aspirants had their first choice as Medicine, to pursue a career in the field. Whereas only 2% of the students chose ENT and Opthalmology as their prime choice. Apart from this 11% of the students exhibited an interest in surgery, 17% in Dermatology, 15% in Radiology, 10% in OBS/ Gynae, 8% in Pediatrics, 5% in Orthopedic and 6% in Respiratory medicine.
No official announcement on NEET UG postponement- 21 April 2021
NTA NEET UG 2021 is scheduled to be held on 1 August 2021. As the country is hit by the second wave of COVID-19, various state/ board exams have been delayed. Several conjectures are there regarding the delay of NEET-UG 2021. Although, there is no official announcement/ confirmation regarding the delay.

Following the current scenario of the COVID in the country, the NEET PG 2021 have been officially postponed until further notice and now there are further speculations on the postponement of the NEET-UG as well. NEET UG 2021 may be postponed again- 17 April 2021
Class 12th CBSE Boards have been postponed by the Ministry of Education. The decision has been made keeping in view the current conditions of the COVID-19 in the country. The ministry also specified that a 15 day time period will be given to the students before the announcement of the official exam dates. Thus, the exams are now likely to be held post 15th July only. With the postponement of the CBSE Exam dates, the NEET-UG is likely to be delayed this year.
NEET PG 2021 postponed again until next notice- 16 April 2021
In line with the petition filed by the nine doctors in the Supreme Court, the NEET PG 2021 exam has been delayed again. The exam was first scheduled to be in January which got postponed with a new date for the exam to be held on 18th April 2021. The Union Health Minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan tweeted the news declaring the postponement. The decision for delaying the examination was taken keeping in view the COVID situation in the country.
XIIth Class Exam delay to affect the NEET and JEE- 15 April 2021
With the upsurging covid situation in the country, the centre has postponed the Class XIIth examination until next month. The sessions for this year too will start later in the year. thus, affecting the entrance exams of many states as well as the centre. The speculations are there that the delay is going to be stretched more and the situation will be again reviewed in June 2021.
Board Exams to be postponed following the NEET UG 2021- 14 April 2021
With the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the country, states like Tamil Nadu are requesting the government to delay the board exams. The exams in the state are due to start in May but due to the increasing concerns of the parents, the exam schedule may get delayed. NEET UG 2021 Common Service Centres (CSC)- 13 April 2021
Common Service Centres are the offline centres for making any type of application and other online processes. Thereby, delivering electronic services to the people living in some of the remote areas of India. Village Level Entrepreneurs serve as a basic unit to provide all of these services to the village students. There are about 2.4 Lakh CSC offering the NEET UG application through these centres. NEET UG 2021 Result- 12 April 2021
NEET UG Results are declared by the NTA after it conducts the examination at the national level. The agency declares the result on its official website. NEET UG 2021 Answer Key- 9 April 2021
Answer Key for the NEET-UG 2021 will release after the NEET Exam process is concluded. The Answer Key for the exam will be available on the official website of the authority. Students who will sit for the exam can challenge the Answer Key in case they are sure that their claim is correct. A non-refundable fee of INR 1000/ answer will be charged from the student challenging the answer key. Read more

15% Reservation in Medical Seats to students of Government Schools, Odisha- 3 April 2021
The Government of Odisha rolled out and approved 15% seat reservation to the students of Government Schools about to pass class 10th and 12th under CHSE. The reservation will be applicable for admission into Engineering and Medical Colleges of the State. The decision was preferred keeping in view the high-cost coaching for entrance exams like NEET and JEE.
No more JIPMER Entrance for B.Sc. Nursing- 2 April 2021
Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will no more be conducting a separate entrance exam for admissions into B.Sc. Nursing. From this year, NEET UG 2021, Merit will be taken into consideration for admission into the Institution. However, the Counselling and admission process will still be under the Institution. Tamil Nadu School Education Department to offer training to NEET Aspirants- 1 April 2021
With the decrease in the number of students under free online coaching of NEET, the School Education Department is ready to offer an innovative training programme. This free coaching was available for the students of government schools which was affected due to the pandemic situation as there was more than 25,000 registration before. India’s First kind of Educational TV channels dedicated for NEET preparation- 31 March 2021
Akash Educational Services Limited (AESL) started a unique initiative by launching TV channels for NEET and JEE preparation. These Aakash EduTV channels were created in collaboration with Airtel DTH to make test preparation accessible to all. The channel will launch a crash course for NEET and JEE aspirants at Rs. 8.23/ day which will broadcast the content created by the Aakash faculty. It will contain 60 hr classes, quizzes, doubt-clearing sessions on TV channel number 467 and 478 of Airtel DTH. The program will air from 2 April to 24 April (1 pm-4 pm). Also, there will be mentoring of students, every Sunday.
NTA to become the biggest test conducting agency in the world- 30 March 2021
The National Testing Agency conducts several examinations in India. It conducts pan-level examinations in the country. By far, it has conducted NEET exam for about 16 lakh students. Central Government rejects the Puducherry’s 10% NEET Reservation- 26 March 2021
The Puducherry cabinet passed a resolution to provide a 10% NEET Quota to the students from Government Schools. This resolution offering horizontal reservation for admission into the medical courses was rejected as informed to the Madras High Court by the Central Government. High court commands NTA to form more exam centres in Tamil Nadu from next year- 25 March 2021
As all the 29 centres allotted to the state of Tamil Nadu were full, including 1 centre in Puducherry, a petition was forwarded by Advocate Veerapillai Ramesh in the Madras High Court. In line with the petition, the HC issued a direction commanding the NTA to establish additional exam centres in the state. Although this decision is not for the examination of 2021. Gujarat Government to create Kota like coaching centres for NEET Aspirants- 24 March 2021
Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr Vijay Rupani announced to set up Coaching centres similar to the Kota Coaching centres for NEET and JEE. The minister ensured the setting up of these centres in four cities of Gujarat, i.e., Vadodra, Rajkot, Surat and Ahmedabad, in collaboration with the coaching centres in the state. The initiative is given a thought considering the students of the state who have to go to Kota for such coaching. The minister also added that the centres will give preference to the poor students of the state.
Government warns Aspirants on the Fake NEET 2021 Exam Pattern- 23 March 2021
Recently, a fake exam pattern has been circulating, claiming it to be the new NEET Exam Pattern with 160 questions. Fact Check social Media Page of Press information Bureau (PIB) has stated the exam pattern as fake. NTA also clarified the same, stating that the circulating pattern is fake. NTA advised all the aspirants and parents to wait for the release of the official notification on the website of NTA.
GetCETGo’ Crash Course for NEET students by Karnataka Government- 23 March 2021
Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, Karnataka started a new initiative by launching a crash course for NEET aspirants. This course is also available for other entrance exams of Karnataka and costs less than Rs. 40. Admission in Life Sciences and B.Sc. Nursing through NEET- 22 March 2021
As per the announcements by the NTA, this year’s NEET score may be used to provide admission to the students in B.Sc. Nursing and Life Sciences. Request for NEET-UG 2021 in 30 districts of Odisha 17 March 2021
The government of Odisha is urging the NTA, to conduct the exam of NEET in all the 30 districts of the State. Earlier the NTA notified the Odisha Government to conduct the Exam of NEET in seven cities of Odisha, namely, Angul, Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Sambalpur. NEET UG 2021 Exam to be conducted Offline12 March 2021
As the notification is released by the authority, the speculations about the exam mode were clear. As of this year, many students were requesting to adjust the whole exam into an online mode. Although, the notification released by NTA specified that the examination will be conducted through the Pen and Paper Mode only.
No Change in Exam Pattern for NEET-UG 20212 March 2021
Since last year, there were considerations about the change in the exam pattern for NTA NEET this year.
