Release of NEET 2018 online Application form
The most awaited application form of NEET 2018 was finally released on 8th February at the official website ( of NEET. Interested candidates can fill application forms till 9th March 2018.


NIOS and Private students are not allowed
8 February 2018- After the release of official notification, it was clear that candidates from NIOS and other private board are not eligible for NEET 2018. They are not allowed to appear in NEET 2018.


Dismissal of NEET age relaxation petition by Supreme court
Supreme Court on 23rd February 2018 dismissed a petition filed by a group of students seeking its direction to appear NEET 2018. These medical aspirants had challenged CBSE decision to fix the upper age limit as 25 years for general category candidates.


NEET become mandatory to pursue MBBS in abroad
14th February 2018- MCI’s proposal of making NEET exam mandatory for the candidates who intend to pursue MBBA in Foreign medical colleges and universities was approved by Union Health Ministry.


Only one set of NEET 2018 question paper
31st January 2018- Supreme Court announced that from this year onwards there will be only one question paper set for NEET exam and this single set of question paper will be translated in different languages (prescribed by CBSE for NEET 2018 exam).


A relief to NIOS students
24th January 2018- It was big relief to those students have passed 12th from NIOS or from other open board schools because centre had decided to revert the decision of Medical Council of India of preventing NIOS candidates from appearing in NEET examination. An official notification is still awaited.
