About NEET 2021 Exam Centres
National Testing Agency which is the exam conducting body for NEET, offers many exam centres for the students. These centres are the places, where the exams will be organised by the authority. These centres are to be filled up by the candidates who will sit for the NEET 2021 examination.
Looking into the increasing number of applicants every year, the number of test centres are revised by NTA from time to time. It will help rural area candidates as many of the new centres are established in rural areas. These test centres are important for the exam as the student has to make choice among these centres during the application form filling.
When to choose the exam centre?
Applicants have to fill the choice for the NTA NEET exam centres at the time of filling the online NTA NEET 2021 Application form. They have to make three choices for exam centres as per their preferences. Centre choices will be filled up according to the order of the preference of the candidate. So, the student filling up the form need to make sure that the centres are filled up carefully.
Also, the student needs to make sure that the centres he chooses are close to his or her residence. This will help the student in avoiding the exam inconvenience and help save transportation costs, if possible. There are many centres and candidates may choose any among them. Candidates can choose the city they live in or the neighbouring cities.
After submitting the centre choices candidates will not be able to make any changes. Therefore, applicants are advised to cross-check the centre preferences before submitting the final choice. Although, the final choice of allowing the exam centres is done by computers, without any human involvement.
Exam Centre codes can be changed only at the time when the NTA opens the NEET Application Form Correction Window. In that time frame, the student can change his/ her exam centre choice.
