The Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda has announced in a press conference that this year, NEET 2018 question paper will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, and Assamese languages. Just after this announcement, Kannada Development Authority (KDA) of Karnataka demands to include the Kannada language in NEET 2018 Examination as a medium.
Prof S G Siddaramaiah, Chairman of KDA said that he has brought to notice the fact in his letter to the minister about Kannada not being included in the list of NEET’s medium of language. Karnataka state is counted as the highest number of medical colleges in the country, and most of the students in Karnataka prefer their Higher Secondary Examination in Kannada.
