DMER Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021: The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) conducts the counselling for the 85% State Quota Seats for admission into BDS, MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, BOTh, BPTh, BP&O, B.Sc. Nursing and BASLP course programs. The state counselling authority of Maharashtra announces the NEET Counselling Schedule on their official website.

All candidates of Maharashtra state who qualify in the NEET 2021 Entrance Exam will be able to fill the online registration application form for the State quota counselling. Based on the Maharashtra NEET Counselling Schedule, the online registration form will be available on the official website of the authority. After that, all the eligible candidates can fill the online registration form and lock their college choices.

DMER Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2021

As soon as the National Testing Agency (NTA) declares the NEET UG Result 2021, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will proceed with the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling. After that, the State Quota Counselling will be organised for NEET 2021.

To appear in counselling, candidates have to fill the registration form. This registration form will only be filled up by the candidates who qualify for the NTA NEET UG 2021. Through this stat level counselling, students will be provided admission into the Government Institutions, Private Colleges, Corporation or any other Minority Colleges.

No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility marks as prescribed by the Medical Council of India/ NTA shall be admitted to all the courses mentioned above, in the said academic year. The Proces of counselling contains various steps. We will discuss all these steps in the coming sections.

ADMISSION PROCESS- NEET Counselling Maharashtra

The process of securing admission under the state quota seats of Maharashtra is a step by step process. Any student who aims to secure admission under these seats can follow these steps. The steps are:

Step I: Registration @info.mahacet.org
The initial step in securing Admission under the state seats of Maharashtra is registering yourself. Students can register on the official website of the State Counselling Authority. At this step, a student registering on the website has to fill in all the essential details required to sit for the counselling. You can finally complete the registration with the payment of a fee in the form of a bank challan of the State Bank of India.

Make sure to keep an additional hard copy of your registration, as it may be required at the time of the Counselling Process.

Step 2: Merit List Release (Provisional)
As soon as the registration process is completed, the heading authority will release a merit list. This list will be as per the candidates who registered for the counselling. Students who get selected or whose name appear on the list will be shortlisted to proceed with the further step of verification.

Step 3: Verification
The next step to secure admission is to verify the documents. Students who process the document verification need to be present in their respective verification centres. They need to bring in their original documents along with the attested hard copies of each document. After the verification is done final list will be published.

Step 4: Filling Choices
The process of filling the choices will be done online. Candidates have to make choices for their courses and colleges according to their preference. So, candidates can fill as many choices as they want. Candidates need to make sure that they fill all the choices carefully as no change will be possible further. Also, secure an additional hard copy of your choices filled up.

Step 5: Seat Allotment
Based on the merit generated, candidates will be selected for admission. Seats will be allotted to the candidates in accordance with their choices filled up in the previous step.

Step 6: Reporting
According to the seat allotment, candidates have to report to their respective colleges with the essential documents. The candidates need to visit the college on the allotted day and time.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling Fee 2021

The candidate desirous of admission through NEET UG 2021 in the State of Maharashtra will have to pay fee Rs 1,000/- as the administrative charge. The Candidate shall Pay by Challan at State Bank of India of Rs 1,000/- + Rs. 60/- Bank Charges (One Thousand Sixty Only). This amount is not refundable.

Sir, As per the Schedule for Document Verification process , for Rank 175001 to 757557 , the schedule fix on 25/06/2018 , Afternoon session (2.00 pm) , but in Category column they mentioned ST Candidates Only , what is the schedule for OPEN category candidates , or it covered in the same time slot , no one is giving the clarity , bit confused , please help.
