Kerala MBBS BDS State Quota Counselling Schedule Date Application 2017

Kerala MBBS BDS State Quota Counselling Schedule: Health & Family Welfare Department, Kerala has published notification regarding MBBD/BDS Admission 2017 under Government/Management/NRI Quota seats in the State. All candidates of Kerala state who had appeared in NEET CUM UG Exam 2017  can fill the online application for counselling. The online application form was available in the website from 2nd July to 6th July. Later, it was extended to 5 PM on 8th July 2017.

According to the official report, a total of 51,066 candidates have submitted the online application form and NEET result 2017 within the stipulated time. Now as the application form and result submission procedure has completed, all candidates are advised to take the printout of the “NEET Result Submission Report” from the official website of KEAM by clicking the menu item ‘NEET Result Verification’ on 11th July to 12th July and can verify and ensure that the details such as NEET Roll Number, NEET (UG) Rank, Percentile score etc. shown in it are that of the candidate.

Some Important Key Points of Admission

  1. 50% of total seats for MBBS course will be allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from among the candidates who have qualified for admission to MBBS courses in the NEET UG 2017 in accordance with the merit and reservation principles followed by the government from time to time.
  2. Out of the remaining 50% seats, 35% of the total seats will be allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations from the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Rank List of 2017 based on merit and eligibility conditions. Remaining 15% of the total seats will be allotted from the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) category by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination on the basis of NEET Rank List 2016 based on merit and eligibility conditions as per the conditions stipulated in GO(Ms) No. 34/2013/H&FWD dates 05.02.2013 and further orders in this regard.
  3. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations shall furnish the list of the student to be admitted in the college by the Management concerned and the Management concerned shall admit the students specified in the list. The student in the list will be given specified instructions as to the date and time of presentation before the college for admission, the amount of fees to be paid, the amount of refundable deposit, if any, to be remitted and the records to be submitted at the time of admission. The Management concerned shall admit the students who have complied with the instruction as required by the CEE.
