Jammu & Kashmir NEET Counselling 2021
The State Counselling will proceed after the result declaration of NEET-UG 2021. The process of Counselling will be online on the official website of the JK NEET counselling authority. After that, the authority will organise the counselling for all the students who qualify NEET Exam. Through the JK NEET Counselling 2021, students can go for some important medical course programs in various government, private and deemed universities/colleges of Jammu & Kashmir like:

It is to be noted that the students from the state of Jammu and Kashmir cannot sit for the Counselling at the All India Level for 15% AIQ seats. Therefore, the complete seats under the state are to be filled by the state only. Although, the students who are not the domicile of the state, can apply for the All India quota by submitting a self-declaration form during the NEET Registration Process.

Counselling Venue: The 1st round of online counselling will be conducted at BOPEE Office Bagati- Burzulla Srinagar and Bahu Plaza, 4th Floor, South Block, Jammu, simultaneously through Video conferencing as per the schedule.
Eligibility for admission- JK NEET Counselling 2021
All the candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before filling the online registration form. Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria may lose their candidature from NEET counselling. Eligibility for NEET 2021 is as follows-

Age | Candidate applying must be of a minimum of 17 years of age on and before 31st December 2021. The upper age for candidates from J&K is 25 years. |

Reservation Criteria for J&K
As Jammu & Kashmir is not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats, therefore, all the 100% seats will be filled through the centralized state quota counselling. Here, we are sharing the reservation applicable to various categories of candidates as per the reservation policy of Jammu & Kashmir.

Admission Process for NEET UG- Jammu and Kashmir
There are a few stages until the final candidature is given to the student seeking admission in the state. We are listing below these stages, students can check it out and proceed accordingly.
Document Verification
As soon as the NEET-UG results are out, all the candidates who qualify for the exam will have to go through the procedure of document verification. Candidates are required to bring all the documents (originals +photocopies) for verification.
Publication of Merit List
After the documents verification, a state merit list will be published. The merit list will detail all the students with their name, rank and NEET scores, roll number, etc.
Choice Filling
Candidates whose name will be on the merit list will be eligible for filling choices for their preferred course and college in the state. Preferences can be filled in online or via offline mode as well. For the online choice filling, a mock exercise will be available on the official website to make the process easier for the students
Allotment of seats
Based on choices filled by the candidates, rank and seat availability, the JK NEET counselling authority will allot seats to the candidates and will publish the result online. The candidate can fill as many choices as he wishes to.
Reporting
Candidates will now have to report to the allotted colleges along with all the required documents. The candidate will secure his/ her admission into the college only after the verification of documents at the college level with the payment of an admission fee.
Second Round Counseling
Candidates who will not be allotted any seats in the first round or those who are not satisfied with the allotted seats can apply for second round counselling and can get a seat in MBBS/BDS course.
Registration for NEET Counselling
The first and foremost step to be eligible for counselling is to sit for the NEET Exam. Only those students who sit for the exam will get consideration for admission into the colleges and universities under the state. The State Merit List will be prepared based on the NEET Scores of all the participating students.
Online registration is mandatory for all candidates to be eligible for JK NEET Counselling 2021. No candidate will be eligible for allotment of seat in any of the round if he/ she fails to fill the online registration form. So, registration is an important aspect to secure seats under the state.
The counselling procedure will start with the registration of the candidates. So, at first, the Candidates have to first register themselves for the counselling. Registration will be done only through the online mode i.e. through the official website of the Board. Candidates have to register by providing all the necessary details.
Application Fee for Counselling
All the candidates will have to pay an amount of Rs. 1,500/-as a fee for JK NEET Counselling 2021. Students will pay this fee at the time of filling the choices/ preferences. The application fee can be paid online and the fee amount is non-refundable.
The candidates who will proceed with the choice filling through an offline mode can pay their fee amount through the Point of Sale (POS) machine installed in the J & K BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu by using their ATM Card/Debit Card/Credit Card or by Cash Payment against proper receipt.

The candidates must carry all the required documents with an original copy at the counselling venue. Below is the list of all the documents needed at the time of verification-
