Jammu & Kashmir NEET Expected Cut Off Marks 2018: The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations is the official authority to conduct NEET State quota Admission in J & K. They will conduct the MBBS/BDS Counselling on the basis of Jammu & Kashmir NEET Expected Cut Off Marks 2018 GEN OBC SC ST Category Wise.

J & K NEET 2018 cut-off marks will be released in the month of June after the declaration of result on 5th June. NEET for the year 2018 will be conducted on 6th May 2018. Cut-off marks list will be released category-wise on the official website of J & K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations.

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam) is one of the prominent national level entrance exam conducted by CBSE annually for admission of students into medical colleges. NEET is compulsory for students in India who are aspiring to become a doctor. Qualifying NEET exam allows candidates to get admission in MBBS and BDS courses in various medical colleges of India. 15 % seats are reserved for All India Quota Candidates and rest 85% seats are reserved under state quota.

Medical Council Committee of Directorate General of Health Sciences is the responsible authority to conduct counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats and counseling for remaining 85% seats under state quota will be conducted by a state authority appointed by State Government.

NEET 2018  Inter-Se-Merit

If two candidates secure equal marks then a tie-breaker is used. To determine the inter-se-merit of candidates following parameters are considered-

  • Preference will be given to the candidate obtaining highest marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the qualifying test i.e. NEET.
  • Candidates obtaining highest marks in Chemistry in the test.
  • Candidates who have attended less number of wrong answers in all the subjects in the test.
  • Candidate older in age will be given preference.
