Himachal Pradesh HP NEET Merit List 2020 State Quota MBBS & BDS Qualifying Candidates List

HP NEET Merit List 2020: Himachal Pradesh University will soon announce HP State Quota MBBS BDS Merit List 2020 on it’s official website. All candidates of Himachal Pradesh who have submitted their application for HP State quota counselling registration form will be able to download Himachal Pradesh NEET Merit List 2020 once it was available on the University website.

Update: NTA will soon release its cut off for NEET UG 2020 on its official website.

After completing the online registration form filling procedure, HP University will announce HP NEET Merit List 2020. The merit list will be based on the marks secured by the applicants in NEET-UG 2020 entrance examination. Candidate who will have their name in the HP NEET merit list 2020 will be eligible for the state quota counseling.

After publishing the merit list, University will conduct 1^st round counselling procedure which will be started soon. All candidates who have enlisted on the merit list will be called to filling and locking their choices.

HP NEET Eligibility criteria

In order to be enlisted in the merit list applicants, you need to clear the cut off marks criteria in the NEET UG 2020 examination because if you clear this mark, then only you will be considered for admission in any government or private medical colleges. Below we have mentioned previous year cut off marks of NEET-UG.

Tier Breaking Criteria

If somehow more than one candidate secures similar marks then the following process will apply to make it clear who’s going to get the seat.

• Candidates who had secured marks higher in Biology (Botany and Zoology) section will be considered first, but if tie still persists after that
• Candidates secured higher mark or percentile in Chemistry will be considered, after that
• Candidates attempted less number of the incorrect and correct answer in less proportion will be considered after that
• Candidates older in age will be considered.

Himachal Pradesh University conducts Medical counselling to fill 85% MBBS/BDS Courses seats for session 2020-2021. As you know all 85% of MBBS & BDS Courses seats will be filled through state quota counselling.
