CMC Vellore NEET 2020 application

Once NEET-UG 2020 result was announced then students need to submit the application form which will be available on the official website of DME in which roll number and All India Rank of students need to be submitted.

Counselling

After submitting the application form successfully institution will release the merit list of the selected candidates and only such students are eligible for admission. Applicants need to be updated about the schedule of counseling.

CMC Vellore NEET Cut Off Marks

Cut off marks are the minimum marks candidate needs to qualify the exam. Cut off marks plays an important role in deciding the admission of a candidate in a college.

Admission in MBBS in CMC, Vellore is granted to the candidates on the basis of NEET score. Every year CMC releases its cut off marks and on this grounds MBBS seats are filled.

Previously, CMC Vellore was conducting its own examination but after the Supreme Court decision that NEET will be the only medical entrance examination, CMC is filling their Medical and dental seats through NEET-UG. 

Candidates who will have 50% percentile in NEET UG 2020 exam can get a MBBS/BDS seat in CMC Vellore. But remember, CMC always gives preference to Christian candidates so if you are not a Christian then we will suggest you to not go for CMC Vellore College.

Admission Procedure

Admission in CMC, Vellore is granted to students on the basis of a college level entrance test except for MBBS. From this year onwards admission into MBBS course in CMC, Vellore will be taken on the basis of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam) score. For admission to other courses, candidates have to appear in a computer-based aptitude test. After that qualified candidates will be called for counseling. At the counseling, candidates have to bring all the required documents for the verification.

NEET 2020 counseling for Christian Medical College and for other medical colleges in the state will be conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tamilnadu. NEET UG 2020 counseling for admission in MBBS course will start tentatively in the month of October 2020. Candidates have to apply online for counseling and after that seats will be allotted to them.
