Annual Intake
Intake is the number of students granted admission in an institution in a year.
MBBS intake-
AIIMS, New Delhi has an annual intake of 100 All India students and 7 foreign students in MBBS course. AIIMS, Guntur and AIIMS, Nagpur has been also added to the list of AIIMS Institutions from this year. Each of them has an intake of 50 seats. Hence, total 807 seats are available for MBBS course in all the AIIMS across India.

Intake in PG Courses-
There is a total intake of 211 students in MS, MD and MDS courses in AIIMS, New Delhi.
Intake in B.sc-
B.Sc (Hons) Nursing and B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) courses have an annual intake of 77 students and 17 students respectively.
Intake in Ph.D. Program-
There is an intake of total 50 students in the various department of Ph.D.

Admission Procedure
AIIMS, New Delhi annually conducts entrance exams for the admission of candidates in various courses. Admissions are only granted on the basis of score obtained in the entrance exam.
AIIMS UG is conducted for admission in MBBS, AIIMS PG for programs like MD, MS, MDS and similarly other entrance exams are conducted for admission in Ph.D., Super specialization courses, paramedical, B.Sc etc. The entrance test is followed by the counseling procedure and allotment of seats to the candidates.
